  • Costs
    Without the support of a professional motoring organisation to come to Your aid, getting stranded on Britain's road network can prove to be a costly ordeal.
  • Causes
    Whether Your Vehicle lets you down through a component fault, or You experience a puncture or loss of fuel, AA Assistance provides help at the roadside, and perhaps even more importantly comes to Your aid should You be involved in an accident.

AA Assistance provides four separate levels of service:
  • Roadside Assistance
    Assistance at the roadside 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Currently over 3/4 of call outs result in a roadside fix.
  • At Home
    Service to Your Home address (or to Your place of work) should You need it.
  • Recovery
    If a roadside fix is not possible, it can recover Your Vehicle to any destination within the UK in one smooth, uninterrupted journey. (Recovery would normally include Your caravan or trailer and up to 7 passengers as well as the driver).
  • Onward Travel
    This facility provides either public transport costs or a hire car for up to 24 hours to enable You to continue Your journey; or overnight hotel accommodation for the driver and up to 7 passengers, if Your Vehicle cannot be repaired within the day.

    Quite simply AA Assistance brings expert help to You whether You are at Home or at the roadside in case of accident, Breakdown, puncture or loss of keys. It covers You, the registered owner of the Vehicle and anyone else legally driving it and includes a range of recovery and accommodation options to suit Your needs.
        Remember    
  • Cover does not include routine servicing or replacement of tyres or windows.
  • Hire car provision (where available) can provide a car with a maximum engine size of 1600cc.
  • Public transport, hire car and hotel accommodation costs will be limited to a maximum £100 per person £480 in total.
  • Trailers and caravans must not exceed 7.6 metres in length, 2.3 metres in width and 3.5 tonnes in weight.
